Updates from the training team
We're currently working on:
- Creating content.
- Setting up the Learning App.
- Testing the training sandbox.
- Working with our local support network for validation.
Training roadmap
There are three types of training: self-paced, blended, and interpersonal learners. Your local coordinator will place you in the group that best matches your training needs. You identified your training needs in the scheduling survey.
All training groups will:
- Complete prerequisites.
- Get 2 weeks of sandbox access for practice.
- Dedicate all of week 1 to completing training.
- Spend week 2 practicing in the sandbox.
- We encourage all staff to reserve the full 2-week training period.
- Get support before and after go-live with super user support, access to materials and escalation paths.
Self-paced learners
- Work independently.
- Complete Learning App lessons.
- Get support from super users.
Blended learners
- Get a mix of independent and guided learning.
- Complete Learning App lessons and attend office hours.
- Get support from super users and office hours.
Interpersonal learners
- Learn through guided peer support.
- Complete instructor-led sessions and guided practice.
- Get support from super users and the training team during sessions.
Timeline
Training groups have staggered start dates and are scheduled in 2-week periods. All learning modules and instruction should be completed in the first week. We recommend using the second week to practice in the sandbox.
All training modules continue to be available in the Learning App after training. However, the sandbox will be available only during these 2 weeks.
